I am in the first stages of a project for Breast Cancer support and awareness. I got the idea from reading Geralyn Dawson's book.
I want to plan a used book sale with proceeds going to Making Memories. I would like to have some envelopes and brochures to give to people.

The reason for getting involved is that my mother died from breast cancer a little over a year ago...so with my upcoming wedding, wanted to do something for someone who wouldn't be there...if I can help one other family avoid going through what my family did, it's worth it...cancer is a cause that I try to do as much as I can for...not only did I lose my mother to this horrible disease, but a little over two years ago, my father lost his battle with cancer...kidney...so, as you can imagine, I want to help...

would like to send out pink envelopes to everyone I am inviting to my college graduation party. My Grandmother was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and had to get a mastectomy. She is doing well now but I would like to honor her and all of the other women in my family by sending out envelopes.
just happened to come across the Pink Envelope Project when I was looking for something else and immediately knew I had to take part in it. So many women in my family have been affected by some sort of cancer, not just breast cancer. Of course, with my grandmother getting sick recently it was just perfect timing that I came across the website now. I received my membership packet a couple days ago so I'm all set. I'm glad I can be part of such a wonderful program.
